That's fabulous. Racing needs more fun traditions like that.
One thing to look for after this race: the winning jockey runs out and jumps into one of the infield lakes as a part of the standard celebration....Watch for it.
The Fort is 180 degrees opposite to Woodbine's polytrack,,,,,Speed is king even at the longer distances as the last few years race can attest. Too bad that track is on its last legs. It it truly beautiful.
