Pleasant Colony wins Kentucky Derby for confident trainer

Monday, May. 11, 1981 Pleasant Colony loped around Churchill Downs on Saturday in an unhurried 2 min. 2 sec. to come in first by three-quarters of a length, paying $9 to bettors with a win ticket.
