Gulfstream Park’s 10-Cent Rainbow 6 was hit Saturday afternoon by one player for $414,166.52.

The Rainbow 6 wasn’t the only jackpot at Gulfstream cracked Saturday afternoon. The 50-cent Pick 5, which requires bettors to pick the winners of the last five races, was also hit for $236,144. Winner of the 50-cent Super Hi 5, which requires bettors to pick the first five finishers in the last race, were paid $53,471.30.

The innovative 10-cent Rainbow 6 wager, introduced in 2011 at Gulfstream, was last hit opening day, Dec. 3 for $15,729.04. The 10-cent Rainbow 6 requires a bettor to pick the winners of the last six races on the program. The jackpot is only paid out when there is one unique ticket with all six winners.

The 10-cent jackpot climbed last winter to $5.01 million.

Sunday’s Rainbow 6 will have a guaranteed pool of $50,000.
