Pathfork Retired to South Africa

Irish champion Pathfork has been purchased to stand at stud at the Beck family’s Highlands Stud Farm in South Africa. The 4-year-old son of Distorted Humor will stand for a syndicate.

Pathfork was Ireland’s champion 2-year-old male of 2010, winning all three races, including the Boylesport.com Vincent O’Brien National Stakes (Ire-I) and the Galileo E. B. F. Futurity (Ire-II).

Apparently, one word from my comment was posted. Not sure how that even happened, sorry. I think I was posting: another young horse off to stud.
I agree, HD.
Talk about a horse that showed a world of potential as a 2yr.old in Ireland in 2010. What a waste of an excellent talent. I don't know if he's been mishandled, mis-trained, or what? But IMO, Pathfork should've been left in Ireland to continue racing on turf in Europe and skipped having ever come to America to race. But TJMO.
