I'll preface this by saying after this is read, don't say I'm picking on Curlin and this and that. Come up with a decent counter argument against what I've said. I'm still waiting on this misperception that Curlin runners get better as they get older to turn into reality, especially his top males. Palace Malice was good until June of his 4 year old year, then got hurt and never regained it. Ride on Curlin never recovered from his Triple Crown campaign and bombed as an older horse. Keen Ice certainly hasn't done anything as an older horse (hindsight says he's been badly mismanaged, even with Pletcher) and Exaggerator was retired after he burned out. Connect has a chance to show something but they are treating him with kid gloves. As females go, Stellar Wind? Curalina was really inconsistent and Terra Promessa, even though she's won at 4, it's been at Oaklawn against inferior competition.
In an ongoing poll that currently has almost 1400 votes asking do you think Arrogate will lose a race this year, almost 40% of votes say yes. I find that odd since he was 1-20 odds in the DWC so the only conclusion is that those saying yes are huge fans of another horse and do not wager.
WOW!!... Timeform has given Arrogate a 141 rating for his Dubai win. The 5th highest ever!!!...
STOP reporting REAMS of work out data and completely monopolizing the entire forum where logical and comparative points of view SHOULD reign, is negating this entire platform. This stuff is about as relevant as a bus schedule from the outskirts to down town Chicago. ENOUGH ALREADY!!

Nominated for the Tattersalls Gpld Cup
  • ILuvTurfRacing · O'Brien said she'll likely make her first start in either the Alleged Stakes or Mooresbridge Stakes, but that she'll be campaigned primarily at 10f for at least the first half of the flat season. So if she runs well in the Alleged and/or Mooresbridge, I would think the Tattersalls Gold Cup would be a logical target. · 47 minutes ago
