Sunday’s Closing Day Santa Anita Park Recap – Nov. 3 (5 out of 6)

The main track started out fair but seemed to favor forwardly placed runners as the day wore on. Turf course seemed to play fair with one wire job winner down the dip.

Hat trick for Edwin Maldonado. Martin Garcia booted home a pair. Doug O’Neill saddled two winners on the day.

Using the Primary-Secondary Ticket strategy on Sunday, I tabbed four Primary winners (Kathleen Rose, Beach Hut, Ambitious Brew, Conkate) and two Secondary winners (Egg Drop, Educated Guess). The winning 5 out of 6 consolation prize came back $31.20 and I had it three times.
