Nakatani to ride Cannonball in Golden Jubilee

ockey Corey Nakatani will replace John Velazquez on multiple stakes winner Cannonball in the Golden Jubilee Stakes (Eng-G1) on Saturday at Royal Ascot.

Velazquez is returning to New York after Friday’s card to ride at Belmont Park on Saturday. He guided Cannonball to a sixth-place finish in the King’s Stand Stakes (Eng-G1) on Tuesday at Royal Ascot for trainer Wesley Ward for owners-breeders Ken and Sarah Ramsey.
