NYRA Introduces Owner Entries by Email

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) has introduced the Owner’s Virtual Stable®, powered by Equibase Company LLC, a system that includes email notifications to owners when their horse is entered into a race.

“I believe that our owners will really appreciate the option to receive email alerts when their horses are entered,” said NYRA Chairman C. Steven Duncker. “I’d like to thank Equibase for working with NYRA on the implementation of this important initiative.”

NYRA will manage owner email addresses through the InCompass Race Track Operations software, the technology that supports the operations of NYRA’s racing office and horsemen’s bookkeeper office.

Email notifications are automatically generated when the overnights are final, and will be sent to all owners with valid email addresses on file with NYRA. Owners that don’t currently have their email addresses on file with NYRA can call the racing office at (718) 659-2235 or horsemen’s relations at (718) 659-2205 to sign up for the alerts.

The customized email alerts will also include a link to the NYRA overnight, an Equibase past performance for the race, and links to purchase full past performance products for the entire card.
