Mi Sueno captures the 2009 Del Mar Debutante Mi Sueno, California’s leading 2-year-old filly, suffered a condylar fracture of a cannon bone during a workout Tuesday, Sept. 29, in preparation for the Oct. 4 Oak Leaf Breeders’ Cup Stakes (gr. I) at Oak Tree at Santa Anita, according to Daily Racing Form. The injury, which came as she galloped out after working a half-mile at Hollywood Park, places her racing career in jeopardy.

That is a shame. She got off to such a promising start and was only going to get better with added distance and experience.
It's a shame we won't get to see her at the BC and beyond... she had a big future ahead of her.
So tough with the two year olds. So much pressure to get them going early but they are so fragile. I wish her the best! She was looking to be a GREAT filly.
