McPeek Quartet to BC

31 January 2009: Trainer Ken McPeek at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale, Florida.
Trainer Ken McPeek said Oct. 16 that he will send his Breeders' Cup quarter to Santa Anita on Oct. 19.

The lineup was completed when Magdalena Racing’s House of Grace scored a nose victory over Smart Seattle in the off-the-turf JPMorgan Chase Jessamine.
“They are all going out on the 19th,” McPeek said. “I want to go out early this year to let them get acclimated, especially after all the cold weather here. Last year, I went out late with Dream Empress (who ran second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies).”
