Mastery returning for Godolphin

Mastery ran extremely well in October's G3 Darley Stakes at Newmarket. Godolphin sent out 3 horses in the race. Mastery was sent out as the 3rd string. Because of such a long lay-off. Having not raced since finishing 5th, just nosed out by Gio Ponti for 4th in the 2010 Dubai World Cup. Although sent out as Godolphin's 3rd string on the day. Mastery was officially the highest rated horse in the race. He ran best of the 3 Godolphin horses. Finishing 3rd in the G3 Darley Stakes. Then came back two weeks later on the all-weather at Kempton on November 3rd and dead-heated with Dansili Dancer in listed Floodlit Stakes. Mastery appears to be headed toward another shot at the 2011 Dubai World Cup. IMO.
