Masters: 'Decision' edges away

Informed Decision takes the 2009 Chicago Handicap
Informed Decision could not have been more impressive defeating six other fillies and mares in the Grade 3, $400,000 Presque Isle Masterson Saturday evening at Presque Isle Downs.

Jockey Julien Leparoux kept the 4-year-old daughter of Monarchos just off the early pace and to the outside in the 6 1/2-furlong race. Midway through the turn, Leparoux shook Informed Decision up, and she inched closer to the lead before rallying in the stretch to draw clear by 2 1/2 lengths. Read More
