09 December 19: Lookin at Lucky (no. 1), ridden by Garrett Gomez and trained by Bob Baffert, wins the 29th running of the grade 1 CashCall Futurity Stakes for two year olds at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California. Wearing blinkers for the first time, Lookin At Lucky worked four furlongs on Pro-Ride at Santa Anita Jan. 9 in preparation for his 3-year-old debut, probably in the San Felipe Stakes (gr. What the Nation is saying about Lookin at Lucky Works in Blinkers...

I didn't like this horse I thought his times were to slow. Now Baffert adds blinker's and if he draws out from these horse's next start and run a nice number then i will be a fan. Also i like his breeding never had a problem with that. according to Dr. Steven Roman his sire and dame sire are balanced speed for non-chef-de-race types which is up to 10 furlongs.
