Lookin at Lucky is, if you'll pardon the pun, a very good looking 2yr.old with, IMO, a world of promise in racing. He's ran really effectively on the synthetic track's and made an awesome accounting of himself, even in defeat, in the Breeders Cup Juvenile. I don't think many would argue the talent is there, but can this talent adapt to the conventional dirt. That's likely the only unanswered question for this 2yr.old, and likely the only question that would prevent him from being a favorite for the 2010 Kentucky Derby as well as the other two Triple Crown races.
McPeek and co. thought they had the race won at Santa Anita... I was never visually impressed with the overall performance, however, and I want Lookin at Lucky out of there and that's it. Maybe a Look / everyone but Noble's promise zacta is in order?
Agree Cigar. Lookin At Lucky was best on Cup day.
He got stuck way wide... he's handled the surface before. Big effort.
