Lookin At Lucky takes the 2009 Del Mar Futurity

Lookin At Lucky will put his undefeated record on the line in the $300,000 Norfolk Stakes (G1), one of two Grade 1 races for two-year-olds on Sunday at the Oak Tree meeting at Santa Anita Park.

Sunday’s card lost one headliner when Darley Debutante Stakes (G1) winner Mi Sueno was diagnosed with condylar fracture of the right cannon bone after a workout Tuesday at Hollywood Park.

I have been closely following Lookin At Lucky since his professional debut win at Hollywood Park in July. I am expecting the 1/2 to Kensei to enjoy two turns in the Norfolk. Likely BC Juvenile fav with an impressive effort on Sunday.
