Lookin At Lucky, winner of the
Preakness Stakes (gr. I), missed a week’s training after coming down
with a slight fever, which raises the question of whether he will be
able to make the $1 million Haskell Invitational (gr. I) Aug. 1.
Trainer Bob Baffert also has Concord Point, winner of the June 26 Iowa Derby (gr. III), as a possible starter for the Haskell after the colt’s brilliant 8 1/2-length victory at Prairie Meadows.
