Lonesome Street accomplished the about one-mile distance over a
Stall-Wilson turf course rated “good” in 1:41.81 and increased his
career earnings to $147,336 with his third win in 15 career starts. The
winner paid $9.60, $5.80 and $5 after alternating for the early splits
of 26.66 and 52.39 with
Village, who returned $11.80 and $6.60 as the runner-up.
Grizzled Robert finished third, three-quarters of a length behind
Village, and returned $4 in the show spot.
