Lone Star Derby Attracts Six

Trainer Bob Baffert will attempt to add to his stellar stakes record at Lone Star Park on Saturday when he sends out Game On Dude in the $200,000 Lone Star Derby (G3).


Baffert has won six of 13 graded stakes starts at Lone Star (46%), including three previous victories in the Lone Star Derby. The 1 1/16-mile race on the main track has attracted just six starters, each of whom will attempt to earn the first stakes triumph of his career.
