and mares by two lengths over Devious Intent on Thursday afternoon at Churchill Downs.

Livi Makenzie covered the six furlongs on the muddy main track in
1:09.73 in her fourth start over the Churchill Downs oval. On Kentucky
Day in 2012, she finished fourth behind Contested in the Eight Belles (Grade III).
A Kentucky-bred daughter of
Macho Uno, Livi Makenzie improved her record to 4-5-3 from 16 starts and
boosted her earnings to $212,109 with Thursday’s check of $34,200.
Livi Makenzie returned $8.20, $4 and $2.40. Devious Intent, under Corey Lanerie
, returned $7 and $3 with 4-5 favorite Same Cross
