Litigation Risk running in $750k Delta Jackpot

With a $750,000 purse, today’s Delta Jackpot is one of the richest races for 2-year-old horses and a win could lead to a spot in the Kentucky Derby in May.

Ocala-bred Litigation Risk will try the Grade 3, 1 1/16-mile race at Delta Downs in Vinton, La. It’s the first time the colt, bred by Donna M. Wormser at her Enchanted Lake Farm, runs at the distance, but then, only one horse in the field of eight has tried the distance before.
