Laurel Park Cancels Due to Snow

Due to snow in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. markets, live racing at Laurel Park has been cancelled for Thursday, February 13. This is the third cancellation of the year at the central Maryland track.

 

Live racing is scheduled to resume Friday, February 14 with a 12:35 p.m. EST post time.

 

The Laurel Park racing office will not be open Thursday. Entries for Monday’s President’s Day card will be taken Friday.

 

Laurel and its sister track, Pimlico Race Course, will be closed for simulcasting.

Due to the significant snow that hit the Baltimore and Washington D.C. markets yesterday, live racing at Laurel Park has been cancelled for Friday, February 14. This is the fourth cancellation of the year at the central Maryland track. Live racing is scheduled to resume Saturday, February 15 with a 12:35 p.m. EST post time. The 10-race card features the $300,000 Barbara Fritchie Handicap (G2) and the $100,000 John B. Campbell Stakes.
