Kodiak Kowboy wins Cigar Mile

Kodiak Kowboy beat Bribon down the stretch to win the Cigar Mile. Said Vinery Stables president Tom Ludt, "That’s three Grade 1’s this year. We couldn’t be happier. He was a little closer to the pace than normal, but he was just sitting there so comfortably. This horse has been so good for us. Now, he’s going home to be a dad."

Interesting now as Kodiak has 3 sprinting G1's... if you count the Cigar Mile... Zensational does too... does Kodiak Kowboy get some love for top sprinter of the year with Zensational completely exposed in the BC?
