The biggest race of the Saratoga season will come Aug. 27, but it
might not be the Travers Stakes. The race before the Midsummer Derby,
the King's Bishop, could feature a battle of two 3-year-old heavyweights
that are on the comeback trail.
Uncle Mo, the morning-line favorite in the Kentucky Derby, never made the race after being withdrawn because of internal issues.
The Factor, the very fast colt from California, never made the Triple Crown either because of a fracture in his hind ankle.
Both are back in training, and both have the seven-furlong King's Bishop on their radars.
