Kentucky Oaks Top 10 - The Return of Kathmanblu

Performance of the week was turned in by Kathmanblu. The Ken McPeek trainee was making her first start since a facile triumph in the Nov 27 Golden Rod. She did not win by open lengths in Gulfstream’s Sweetest Chant on the turf but she effortlessly rolled from off the pace and received a rock solid 90 BSF for her efforts. What the Nation is saying about Kentucky Oaks Top 10 - The Return of Kathmanblu...

Was not a strong Juvenile Filly group, at least on turf. New comers, turf fillies, and the fall champs will own the division. These include More Than Real, Kathmanblu, Winter Memories, Turbulent Descent, and Dancinginherdreams. I will be watching the allowance and maiden ranks closely because it seems prime for some kind of star to emerge within the relatively weak that currently lead the division.
