Kentucky Derby 2014 Future Odds - 9-17-2013

The first set of Kentucky Derby 2014 Future Odds was released this week by Wynn Las Vegas. The annual race for the first Saturday in May began in earnest when Strong Mandate, the Tiznow colt trained by D. Wayne Lukas, stormed to an emphatic victory in the Hopeful at Saratoga. Strong Mandate is set at 30-1 for next year's Kentucky Derby - will he make it in the gate? Can he even win the Triple Crown? Only time will tell, but until then, here are the prices for a few others who may make some noise along the Derby Trail in 2014.

Strong Mandate (Hopeful) - D. Wayne Lukas - 30-1

Cleburne (Iroquois) - Dale Romans - 70-1

Debt Ceiling (Bashford Manor) - John J. Robb - 200-1

Dunkin Bend (Sapling) - Steve Asmussen - 100-1

Tamarando (Del Mar Futurity) - Jerry Hollendorfer - 85-1
