The latest Kentucky Derby 2014 Future Odds from Wynn Las Vegas include several new faces to track on the trail to Churchill Downs.
Bond Holder, runaway winner of the Frontrunner at Santa Anita, is at 75-1 for trainer Doug O'Neil and owner Paul Reddam, the team who campaigned 2012 Derby winner I'll Have Another. Bond Holder will most likely be seen next in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Nov. 2.
In Trouble, easy winner of the Futurity at Belmont, is at 85-1 for trainer Anthony Dutrow and Team D stable. The son of Tiz Wonderful is a probable for the Nashua Stakes on Nov. 3.
Diamond Bachelor, a son of hot sire War Front, is undefeated in 2 turf starts and is one of 3 co-favorites at 20-1. His is trained by Patrick Biancone for Diamond 100 Racing Club and will next appear in the Zuma Beach Stakes at Santa Anita Oct. 6.
Two other 20-1 co-favorites will face off in the Champagne this weekend - Strong Mandate, convincing winner of the Hopeful for trainer D. Wayne Lukas, and Honor Code, impressive maiden winner for Shug McGaughey. These very early future odds will likely change dramatically after this weekend's action!
