Today's Derby contender works featured a three furlong bullet from G2 Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes hero Uncaptured. The Mark Casse runner has been experiencing foot problems and today's move was his first published work this year.

#2 Uncaptured – 3f bullet in :35.60 (1/7) at Ocala Training Center.

#3 Goldencents - 6f bullet in 1:13.20 (1/20) at Santa Anita Park.

#39 Oxbow – 5f breeze in 1:02.60 (2/6) at Oaklawn Park.

#114 Pataky Kid - 4f breeze in :47.89 (6/26) at Gulfstream Park.

#120 Indy's Illusion - Breezed 4f in :51.62 (9/11) at Palm Meadows.

I don't really care whether he makes the Derby or not, just really like the horse and glad to see him back at work. I hope things go well for him soundness-wise moving forward.

You could be correct, but all he needs to do is hit the board in the spiral and Bluegrass and he will have enough points and should be fresh.

I really like this horse, Im so glad I got him at 40+ to 1 in the futures. I understand that Frac Daddy and Dewey Squared fell flat on thier faces after losing to Uncaptured, but this horse is 5 of 6 and has won 2 times at Churchill. He also has beaten 2 time stakes winner Overanalyze. He is getting no respect. Look for him to be closer to 50-1 in the next futures pool, I advise to drop some cash on this one, (disclaimer, I often lose future bets!)
