Kentucky Derby 2013 Workout Report: Itsmyluckyday works a flat mile

Today's Kentucky Derby contender works featured a one mile breeze from G3 Holy Bull hero Itsmyluckyday. The Eddie Plesa Jr. trainee remains on course for the G1 Florida Derby at Gulfstream Park on March 30. 

In other news, Grade II Risen Star winner Ive Struck a Nerve injured his ankle during a Saturday morning half-mile breeze (:48.40) at Fair Grounds and is off the Derby trail. The injury does not look like it is career-threatening at this point but the vets still have to take more X-rays.
