Today's Derby contender works featured a five furlong work from G3 Gotham hero Hansen. He is pointing to the G1 Blue Grass at Keeneland on April 14.

G2 Tampa Bay Derby show finisher Cozzetti worked 5f in 1:00.70 (2/13) at Gulfstream Park on Saturday. Battaglia Memorial hero State of Play breezed 5f in 1:02.80 (32/42) at Keeneland. Comebacker Overdriven breezed 4f in :50.62 (25/38) at Palm Meadows.        

 

March 30 Works:

 

G1 Wood Memorial contender Alpha breezed 4f in :49.17 (6/21) at Palm Meadows on Friday. I'll Have Another traveled 7f in 1:26 (1/3) at Hollywood Park. The G1 SA Derby on 4-7 is next. Jake Mo, working for the G1 Arkansas Derby, breezed 4f in :51.20 (23/28) at Oaklawn Park. Midnight Transfer, another SA Derby hopeful, fired a 6f bullet in 1:11.80 (1/15) at Santa Anita Park for trainer Carla Gaines. My Adonis, working for the April 7 Wood Memorial, fired a 4f bullet in :47.12 (1/19) at Aqueduct. B Shanny, recovering from a bone chip, breezed 3f in :38.09 (16/22) at Belmont (training track). He beat El Padrino in a MSW sprint at Saratoga last August.
