Today's Derby contender works featured a four furlong breeze from G2 Risen Star Stakes winner El Padrino. Todd Pletcher also sent out Gemologist for some morning exercise at Palm Meadows on Monday, and Sabercat completed his G2 Rebel preparations at Oaklawn Park.

Notes:
Fed Biz has a hind-end issue and is off the Derby trail. Currency Swap and Gemologist are both entered in a flat mile allowance event (3rd race) at Gulfstream Park on March 16. Hierro, 5th in the G3 Sham Stakes, is entered in a 7f optional claiming affair (4th race) at Santa Anita Park on March 16. Propspective received an 88 BSF for his Tampa Bay Derby victory. Creative Cause got a 102 BSF in the San Felipe.
