Today's Derby contender works featured a three furlong move from G1 Champagne Stakes hero Union Rags. The BC Juvenile runner-up is expected to make two starts in Florida (Fountain of Youth, Florida Derby) prior to the Kentucky Derby.

#69 Take Charge Indy - Breezed 5f in 1:03.09 (4/9) at Palm Meadows.

sustained a condylar fracture of his right front leg and is off the Derby trail. #76 Seeker is entered in the 8th race at Fair Grounds on Jan 13. The Steve Asmussen trainee is the 5-2 second choice in the six furlong optional claiming affair.
