Today's Derby contender works featured a six furlong move from G1 Norfolk hero Creative Cause. The Mike Harrington trainee was last seen finishing a close-up 3rd in the G2 San Vicente Stakes at Santa Anita Park on Feb 19.

Hierro, 5th in the G3 Sham Stakes, traveled 6f in 1:13.20 (1/2) at Santa Anita Park on Tuesday. Done Done Done, 5th in the Jimmy Winkfield Stakes on Jan 16, breezed 4f in :52.60 (22/22) at Laurel Park.

I watched The San Vicente several times and was more impressed with this horse with each viewing. Mike rated this horse as if he was strething out to a mile & a quarter. CC could have easily passed the front runners as he closed at 10 furlongs. Mike was training to a longer race with ths one, a horse to watch going forward.
