workouts for Saturday, April 21 

Today's Derby contender works featured a six furlong breeze from G3 Spiral Stakes hero Went The Day Well. The Graham Motion trainee worked under Johnny V and in company with Crimson China. G2 Louisiana Derby show finisher Rousing Sermon and G3 Illinois Derby winner Done Talking also worked on Saturday.

#10 Went The Day Well - 6f in 1:14.40 (2/3) at Keeneland. 

#20 Done Talking - 4f breeze in :49.60 (24/68) at Laurel Park.

#28 Rousing Sermon - 7f in 1:27.20 (1/2) at Hollywood Park.

The Kentucky Derby pace scenario just heated up with the announcement that speedy seven furlong specialist Trinniberg will make his next start on the first Saturday in May. Reveron injured his ankle and the Derby is no longer under consideration.
