Ballis, Swinbank and Lewis’s Join in the Dance,
always well placed, rallied when set down for the drive to be best by
three-quarters of a length in Thursday’s featured $47,000 second level
allowance
race at Fair Grounds.

his third winner of the afternoon, Join in the Dance justified his role
as the favorite with mutuels of $4.80, $3.20 and $2.20 while getting the
mile and 70-yard distance in 1:43.91.
Trained by
Steve Margolis, Join in
the Dance increased his career earnings to $420,820 although he was only
registering his second career victory in 17 lifetime starts.

Sky’s the Limit launched a late bid to be easily second best, finishing 3 1/2-lengths in front of Craig Singer’s
Thunder Perfect. Sky’s the Limit paid $4.60 and $3 while Thunder Perfect returned $2.80 in the show spot.

Unbridled’s Heart ticked off early splits of 24.87 and 48.64 before tiring in the final furlong.
