Jebrica Wins at Emerald; Pick 5 Carryover

Jebrica swept past Marvin's Magic past mid-stretch and pulled away for a 3 1/4-length victory Saturday in the $17,600 Jack and Helen Wiesen Celebration Purse for 3-year-olds at Emerald Downs.

With Pedro Terrero riding his third winner on the card, Jebrica ran six furlongs in 1:09.82 on a fast track and paid $7.60, $5.40 and $4. Jim Penney is the trainer for owners Ron and Rosalie Warren of Olympia, WA.

The victory was worth $9,680 and pushed Jebrica's earnings to $32,970. Bred in Washington Fred and Debbie Pabst, Jebrica is by Liberty Gold-Peaceful Wings and has a 2-0-1 record in five starts including a third in the 2010 Gottstein Futurity.
