Jackson Bend, Ice Box Work at Saratoga

Robert LaPenta and Fred Brei’s Jackson Bend continued his preparations for the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (gr. I) with another quick work on the Saratoga training track Oct. 27.

Jackson Bend worked a half-mile in :47 2/5 on a surface rated good. Trained by Nick Zito, the 4-year-old Hear No Evil   colt has first preference in the Dirt Mile and second preference in the Breeders’ Cup Sprint (gr. I), both of which will be run Nov. 5 at Churchill Downs.

The title of this article includes Ice Box, but they don't mention him in the article. If I Ice box trains soon at Churchill Downs and gets positive remarks from the drf.com clocker, he could be a trilpe digit odds threat to steal the Classic.
