It's Tricky, Plum Pretty Meet Again in Cotillion

It's Tricky and Plum Pretty will meet for the third time this year when they face Buster's Ready and three others in Saturday's Grade 2, $750,000 Cotillion Stakes at Parx.

Kiaran McLaughlin trainee It's Tricky is the 7-5 morning line favorite. The daughter of Mineshaft captured back-to-back grade one races (Acorn, Coaching Club American Oaks) earlier this year and was last seen finishing 2nd behind Beldame contender Royal Delta in the G1 Alabama. She projects a tactical trip under her favorite pilot Eddie Castro and today's eight and one-half furlong trip seems perfect.

Kentucky Oaks winner Plum Pretty will try to turn the tables on It's Tricky. The Bob Baffert runner also figures to enjoy this shorter trip and should make her presence felt throughout under Rafael Bejarano.

Buster's Ready won the G1 Mother Goose at Belmont in June before disappointing vs. It's Tricky and Plum Pretty in the Coaching Club American Oaks. Todd Pletcher gave her a breather and the fresh miss is a tactical rebound threat under David Cohen.

Halo Dolly has rattled off five straight wins out west for Jerry Hollendorfer. She reunites with Russell Baze and will be finishing.

The Cotillion field also includes Daring Reality and Todd Pletcher's speed threat Love And Pride
