It's About That Glass

The glass was half-full, and then some, when Santa Anita celebrated its 75th anniversary and the opening of its 73rd season (if you're really worried about the discrepancy, see World War II). The crowd was more than 35,000, which is a big deal these days except when they're running a Breeders' Cup.
