The excitement can’t be matched in thoroughbred racing, save maybe the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup.  The first of forty cards at Saratoga is on tap for this afternoon and if the first three cards give any indication, the racing this meet will be terrific.

CHECK THIS OUT THESE POST TIMES: (eastern time) Calder race 5: 3:42; Ellis race 5: 3:42; Finger Lakes race 8: 3:43; Louisiana race 4: 3:43; Saratoga race 6: 3:46. Do the people in charge of these tracks know just how befuddled they leave the bettors? And wouldn't it be to THEIR advantage to go about 10 minutes before that group?
