Live report from Churchill Downs. Several inches fell overnight and the track is heavy with water. It is playing like last years sloppy Derby day track. Wire-to-wire and front runner types are struggling on the soaked surface. Jockey's are taking their horses off the rail and closing from mid-pack thus far. Discount the changes of Line of David, Sidney's Candy, American Lion and Conveyance.
