Hollendorfer can establish an Autumn meet record for most stakes wins by
a trainer with a victory in either the $200,000 Soviet Problem
Saturday, Dec. 21
or the $200,000 King Glorious Stakes Sunday, Dec. 22.The pair of seven-furlong
races for 2-year-olds bred or sired in California – the Soviet Problem
is restricted to fillies – will be offered during the final weekend of
racing in Hollywood Park history.

Belief in the Grade I, $751,500 CashCall Futurity and Blueskiesnrainbows
in the Grade III, $150,500 Native Diver Stakes gave Hollendorfer six
for the meet, tying a record established by Hall
of Famer Charlie Whittingham during the 1984 Autumn season.
Whittingham is the all-time leader at the historic venue with 222 stakes successes.
Hollendorfer is scheduled to start Swiss Lake Yodeler in the Soviet Problem and Pray Hard in the King Glorious.
Owned by Four M Stable and Halo Farms, King Glorious gave Hollendorfer his first Futurity win in 1988.

and Marianne Williams, Swiss Lake Yodeler has won two of three and
earned $125,600. The daughter of Swiss Yodeler and the Meadowlake mare
Domasco Lake has been idle since an 8-1 upset in
the Golden State Juvenile Fillies Nov. 1 at Santa Anita.
A gelded son of Kafwain
and the Songandaprayer mare Unbridled Prayer, Pray Hard comes off a 5 ¼
length maiden win Nov. 20 for owner-breeders Debi and Tom Stull’s Tommy
Town Thoroughbreds. He’s earned $62,100 in

Problem will be taken Wednesday, Dec. 18 and entries for the King
Glorious will be taken Thursday, Dec. 19.
