The Breeders’ Cup, Thoroughbred racing’s most prestigious global event, and Hello Race Fans, Incorporated, an online media company focused on horse racing fan education and information, have announced the launch of a fan education editorial initiative.

As part of the agreement, Hello Race Fans will create original Breeders’ Cup relevant fan education content for use on all Breeders’ Cup websites in 2012. In addition, selected, existing Hello Race Fans content will be supplied.

This year’s Breeders’ Cup World Championships, consisting of 15 races and purses totaling more than $25 million, will be held on November 2-3 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif., and will be televised live on the NBC Sports Network. The Breeders’ Cup Classic will be shown live and in primetime on NBC.

“The Breeders’ Cup always attracts new and motivated fans,” said Dana Byerly, Hello Race Fans Co-founder. “We’re excited to have Hello Race Fans’ content play a part in educating new and existing fans.”

“Educating fans is important to the Breeders’ Cup, which is why we have supported Hello Race Fans since its inception,” said Peter Rotondo, Vice President, Media and Entertainment, Breeders’ Cup. “Now, we are thrilled to enhance our online offerings with content from Hello Race Fans.”
