I am thrilled to announce that at long last, Horse Racing Nation will hit the airwaves with the creation of the HorseRacingNation Radio Network. The exciting new feature is yet another way our innovative website will reach horse racing fans everywhere.
 
Race fans often get their news from local sports radio shows. Until now, most of these programs were only available to the fans that live in the markets where they are aired. Now you can tune in to some of the best racing shows online, right here at HRN. A great example of this will be our very first show.
 
My good friend, Mike Moss, and his partner, Andy Hagaman, have created a very popular racing show highlighting Oaklawn Park. Their show was previously only available on the local FOX Sports stations in the Hot Springs, Arkansas area … Not anymore! Now you can listen in to The Morning Line with Mike and Andy right here on HRN, no matter where you live.
 
Mike and Andy will be on the air from 9-10 am Central every Saturday through the end of the Oaklawn Park meet (and maybe longer). The pair tells me that those lined up for their first show on HRN will include in-studio guest, Jerry Hissam. For those of you who don’t know, Hissam is the jockey agent for three-time Kentucky Derby winning rider, Calvin Borel. Borel just recently moved his tack to Oaklawn Park. They will also have segments with Oaklawn Media Director, Jennifer Hoyt, as well as, the popular horse racing correspondent, Jen Jade. 
 
It sounds like it will be a great show tomorrow, although I must admit that I am especially interested in the February 18 show, when yours truly has been invited to be the live studio guest. While the Morning Line with Mike and Andy will be our first show on the Horse Racing Nation Radio Network, it will be far from our last. Teaser alert … The Chicago Dark Horse, Chris Sorenson, and I are working on a weekly podcast that will include video streaming. Seems a little dangerous for a couple of guys with faces for radio, but what the heck, it should be a lot of fun!
