I'm glad that Mr. Haskin mentions other great fillies and mares other than the ones that are totally fresh in our minds. There were even horses that I have forgotten about or haven't even heard of. Certainly, all these wonderful horses deserve recognition and respect, past and present. But what a talented list! It's hard to really choose a top 10 with these wonderful fillies and mares.
