Hansen Ruled Out Of Travers

Hansen wins the Gotham Stakes
Last year’s champion juvenile Hansen has been ruled out of consideration for this Saturday’s Grade 1, $1 million Travers at Saratoga Race Course.

 

“He had some inflammation in his left front leg this morning and is not running,” said trainer Mike Maker.

 

Owned by Dr. Kendall Hansen and Skychai Racing, the grey son of Tapit was undefeated as a 2-year-old including a win in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile. This year he has added two Grade 3 victories to his resume from six starts.

I think he's been hurting for awhile and I am glad someone noticed and did not let him break down. But I hope he can return if it wouldn;t hurt him. Never saw one as good looking as him.
