Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse
Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced Thursday
it will broadcast live from the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sales Pavilion Monday,
August 8th and Tuesday, August 9th to provide extensive
on-site coverage of Fasig-Tipton's Saratoga Selected Yearling sale.
HRRN's coverage will be streamed live in conjunction
with the video feed of the sale on the Fasig-Tipton TV page, as well as on the
HRRN website. Broadcasts begin at 6:30 p.m.
ET each night and continue through the conclusion of the
session.
"The Fasig-Tipton Saratoga sale is one of the premier
yearling sales in the world and we are thrilled to broadcast this great event to
racing enthusiasts around the globe," said Mike Penna, President of HRRN. "People will have the option to watch
live video coverage of the sale as they listen to our broadcast. Showcasing major sales in the same
manner as our live race coverage will provide fans and horsemen an in-depth
platform to experience this aspect of our sport."
In
addition, HRRN will preview the sale as part of their popular Equine Forum show
Saturday morning from 8-10 a.m. ET.
The Equine Forum will be hosted live from Saratoga and can be heard on
96.1 FM in Lexington, KY or online at the HRRN website.
HRRN's Eclipse Award-winning broadcast team of Penna,
Jude Feld and Sean Clancy will host the coverage.
