GOLDIKOVA stretched her phenomenal record to 13 Group 1 wins as she started her season with victory in the Prix d'Ispahan.
The wonder mare held off the challenge of Cirrus Des Aigles by a neck with Rajsaman three-quarters of a lengthback in third. Ransom Note and Dick Turpin, the two British runners, filled the last two places in the nine-strong field.
Goldikova was 3-5 on the French Tote and 8-11 on industry prices. Cirrus Des Aigles was 8-1 in France (14-1 on the industry prices) and Rajsaman 19-1 (11-1).
