A field of 12 fillies and mares was
entered in Saturday’s $75,000 De La Rose Stakes at a mile on the turf with Prize
Catch, winner of the Key To The Bridge overnight stakes and subsequently
fifth in the Grade 2 New York at Belmont, the starting highweight under 120
pounds.
The race also drew Dynaslew,
winner of last year’s Grade 2 Ballston Spa; Tapitsfly, who in 2009 won
the P.J. Johnson here en route to her victory in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile
Fillies Turf, and defending De La Rose winner Miss Keller.
Rounding out the field are Trix
in the City, Ultimate Class, Becky’s Exchange,
Evading Tempete, Spring Party, Deluxe, La Cloche,
and Bet On the Blue. Spa City Princess was entered Main Track
Only.
