The 13th annual Brisnet.com Handicapping Challenge
on Saturday, Dec. 10, offers Bloodstock Research Information Services
(BRIS) members a free opportunity to compete for a seat at the
$2-million National Handicapping Championship (NHC) Jan. 27-28 at the
Treasure Island Las Vegas casino resort, as well as win other great
prizes. First place also includes a $1,000-cash award,
plus a $250-product credit for Brisnet.com, which is the official data
source of TwinSpires.com, the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands,
and Churchill Downs Incorporated.
The contest is free; current BRIS members can register at brisnet.com/challenge. Non-members who wish to enter the Challenge can
sign up for a free BRIS account at Brisnet.com.
“This is an excellent opportunity
for racing fans to test their handicapping mettle while competing for
some of the top prizes available in a free contest,” said Brisnet.com
Director of Marketing Ed DeRosa. “Churchill Downs
Incorporated has already seen unprecedented demand from customers to
qualify for the NHC through its TwinSpires.com platform, and BRIS is
excited to offer its members an opportunity as well.”
Players will be able to access
premium handicapping information from Brisnet.com to help them make
their picks. The popular Ultimate Past Performances and Daily Selections
full-card analysis will be on the Challenge
site free of charge. To qualify for the NHC seat, the BRIS user must
also be a member of the NHC Tour. All other prizes are available
regardless of tour membership.
BRIS also invites its users to
connect via social media for a chance to win prizes. The top Facebook
and Twitter followers will each receive Brisnet.com credit and
merchandise. Follow Brisnet on Facebook at facebook.com/Brisnet and on Twitter at twitter.com/brisnet.
