Frankel Impresses in QE II Workout

THE brilliant Frankel impressed work watchers on Friday morning when he put the finishes touches to his preparation for next Saturday's Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot.

Ridden by Tom Queally, the son of Galileo, unbeaten in eight starts, was in action on the watered gallop with regular work companion Bullet Train.

The pair worked over seven and a half furlongs with Frankel stretching five lengths clear of his three-parts brother in impressive fashion.

Heis likely to start a short-priced favourite for the Qipco-backed Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, which will be the final race of his season.
